Philadelphia is a city of history and traditions.

You could visit an historic site where an enslaved African’s relative took the enslaved African’s place so that he could earn enough money to buy his freedom. Once free, he became a minister of an important church. Or, you might visit a site that is the oldest piece of real estate continuously owned by Black folks—hint—both of these sites are Black Churches! Moreover, take a visit to the “Ceremonial Park” architecturally designed by an African American.
